In 1989, Luis Mediero, one of the leading figures in Spanish tennis, founded the RPT with the main drive of offering different training programmes, international certifications and membership services to professional coaches, tennis clubs and centres of education, as well as promoting the sport at all levels.

Since inception, the RPT certified 8,000+ coaches across Spain, collaborating with major tennis schools. Over 34 years, they delivered 1,000+ courses, 50 conferences, 15 tours, and 25 symposiums. They ran 200+ promotions, 500+ clinics with 500,000+ players. RPT enables Spanish coaches to access our systems, training, tech, and innovations. Their endorsed courses are recognized by the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation. As a premier Junior Tennis promoter, RPT annually organizes 60+ tournaments via the National Circuit RPT – MARCA, engaging 40,000+ players since 1996. This Circuit, backed by RFET, bolsters tennis development.
